The Behringer MX-400 MicroMix is a compact low-noise audio mixer with four 1/4" phone line inputs and a single 1/4" phone output. The MX-400 is an ideal, cost-effective solution for musicians and studio engineers that require more inputs than their large consoles accommodate. The MX-400 is a suitable keyboard mixer, or may be used to mix signal from player devices such as CD and mp3 players. The MicroMix features quiet level controls on each input and it's size makes the MicroMix well suited for the road.

Comments about Behringer MX-400 MicroMix - Four Channel Mixer:
I use the micromix to play music from a computer or I-pod and a CD player through the house pa. This is particularly helpful in rehearsals to review arrangements of songs the band is playing. The best thing about the MicrMix is that it mixes down to a mono output so it only takes one channel from the house mixer. That leaves another channel for instruments. I don't need stereo anyway because the monitors are mixed in mono. The MicroMix is also simple to setup and operate. Just plug in the inputs and single output and turn up the volume levels.

This unit includes a power supply which is not included with some similar battery operated models from other manufactures. So, unless you enjoy replacing batteries on a regular basis I would recommend this unit.

Comments about Behringer MX-400 MicroMix - Four Channel Mixer:
I used this to mix my ipod and guitar into the amplifier and it doesn't sound half bad. It works exactly how I thought it would work. I turned the IPod channel down and the guitar channel up and it doesn't sound too bad for a single speaker mono setup. Of course I had to by the 1/8th inch stereo to 1/4 inch mono adapter from[...]

Comments about Behringer MX-400 MicroMix - Four Channel Mixer:
It does what it was designed to do, and it's quiet. I power it with the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power II Plus, and it works like a charm.
I use it to mix the outputs of my Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator and my T.C. Electronics Nova System into one send which goes into my Boss RC-20XL Loop Station. It makes it nice and simple to seamlessly switch back and forth between guitar sounds, and still have the ability to layer everything into the Loop Station.

Comments about Behringer MX-400 MicroMix - Four Channel Mixer:
Great small mixer for those who need to sum up to 4 inputs to a single output. We use it to join two stereo headphone outputs from two Yamaha consumer keyboards into one output going to a single powered speaker for dual keyboard stage performances. Dislikes: The one I received still uses the old transformer type power supply instead of the newer cool running switching (and multi-voltage) supply. Mfr web page appeared to show mult-voltage capability, so I was expecting the switching supply.

Built well. Glad for the two threaded holes in the back which allowed for mounting. Low noise. Another quality Behringer item.

Comments about Behringer MX-400 MicroMix - Four Channel Mixer:
I use this product for drum click track mixing. A click track is fed into channel-one while a track with all backing audio is fed into channel-two. I then feed the output to a headphone amp which drives in-ear monitors that the drummer wears. Once again keep in mind this is strictly a mono mixer.
Overall does exactly what I hoped it would do and I would most likely purchase this or another Behringer product again.
Comments about Behringer MX-400 MicroMix - Four Channel Mixer:
The thing has 4 mono inputs and 1 mono output. not exactly ideal for cd or mp3 players as inputs.
Problems Encountered: 4 x 1/4 TS (Phone, jack) MONO input, 1/4TS (Phone, jack) MONO output
