With over seventy-five years in the business, Weaver Optics is an American company dedicated to assisting the hunter's pursuits at a great price. The 24x40 T-24 Target/Varmint has all the features needed in the competitive shooting circles.
The 24x40 T-24 Target/Varmint feature Weaver's Micro Trac 4-point elevation/windage adjustment system, which allows you to adjust one without affecting the other. Conventional adjustment systems employ two adjusting screws and a single biasing spring, which eventually results in the spring affecting the adjustment of the other axis after you've tried to adjust one screw too far. Rather than bearing down directly upon the erector tube itself, the Micro-Trac 4 Point System bears down upon a single, consistent point of contact-for repeatable, unparalleled accuracy. Also features a fine crosshair 1/8 MOA dot reticle.

Comments about Weaver 36x40 T-36 Adjustable Objective w/ 1/8 MOA Dot Reticle - Satin Black:
I Purchased this scope for my savage F-class rifle. The optics are clear and bright and the fine crosshair doesn't obscure the target even at 1000yds. The only complaint I have is that it is no longer offered with 1/4" clicks which would be nice for longer ranges.

Comments about Weaver 36x40 T-36 Adjustable Objective w/ 1/8 MOA Dot Reticle - Satin Black:
Using it on my 40X target rifle for NRA smallbore competition. The scope has crystal clear optics, the adjustable objective lens is great, the wind/ elev knobs have nice sharp audible clicks. Excellent fit & finish. Added bonus are the screw in lens caps. Great scope, sure purchasing another is in my future. Buyer should be aware that the cross hairs are SUPER fine, about 1/4 the width of a normal reticle.

Comments about Weaver 36x40 T-36 Adjustable Objective w/ 1/8 MOA Dot Reticle - Satin Black:
This is the third Weaver T-Series I have bought over the years. While it won't compete with high end optics, in my opinion, it is an good quality scope for a reasonable price.

Comments about Weaver 36x40 T-36 Adjustable Objective w/ 1/8 MOA Dot Reticle - Satin Black:
I fitted the scope to a Rock River arms AR-15, with a heavy, untapered stainless steel barrel.
The quality of the scope exterior is excellent.
The optics are very good for the price range. Obviously you're not receiving German or Swiss glass for this price range, however, the quality for the price range is very, very good.
