The CAD M177 Condenser Microphone is designed for vocal and general instrument recording in project studios. The side address capsule provides a cardioid polar pattern, effective in minimizing noise and off-axis audio. The cardioid pattern reduces ambient room noise and feed back caused by monitor speakers or headphones. The externally biased capsule features a large 1.1" inch gold sputtered diaphragm. High speed, low noise operation amplifiers result in high output gain and low noise floor. A high pass filter switch eliminates noise and rumble below 80Hz. The 20dB Pad switch provides additional headroom when capturing audio instruments that are rich in fast transients and excessive levels. The M177 is an excellent choice for capturing vocals, guitars, piano, percussion and more.
