International Orders*From Applied Microphone Technologies (AMT), the WS clarinet microphone is unique in design and function. The microphone mounts to the clarinet and features 2 cardioid microphone elements, each attached to flexible goosenecks. The elements are designed to be positioned at the bell and keys of the clarinet.
The dual miking technique results in a natural, authentic reproduction of the instruments mechanics as well as the sound produced from the bell. The elements feature cardioid polar patterns, which suppress residual noise and audio signal at the off-axis sections of the capsule. The microphone connects to a separate beltpack that provides the output stage and power. The WS clarinet microphone operates on 12-52 Volt phantom power.
