From the Applied Microphone Technologies (AMT) company, the HR-2 Hot Rod harmonica microphone implements the HR-1 with side clips that mount the harmonica to the microphone. The clips ensure a secure mount while using the microphone in performances on stage. The Hot Rod delivers a clear, transparent audio signal that's free of coloration and distortion due to excessive peaks and level.

The HR-2 includes a body-pack preamplifier that features a level control and 1/4" phone output connector. The body-pack features line-level output signal enabling the microphone to be connected directly to a 1/4" phone line level input on an amplifier speaker or mixer. The microphone and belt-pack are powered with a single 9-Volt battery. The HR-2 is a must have microphone for the hobbyist or professional harmonica player.

Transparent Audio Reproduction
The Hot Rod harmonica microphone features a clean, uncolored audio signal that's free of noise.

AMT belt-pack Preamplifier
The included belt-pack preamplifier is optimized to accentuate the signal quality of the HR-2. The belt-pack outputs at line-level signal and operates on a single 9-Volt battery.
