Every review I ever read about the N90s, or F90x complained about this Multi Control Back. With the low price at B&H for this actually [$] item you can't loose. It really adds some important and valuable features without bothering a bit. Every review about the N or F90 I ever read is complaining about the complicated MF-26... it is no good... too complicated....don't work... etc etc....Nonsense! It works just fine. Only problem is that the enclosed manual gives you just itemized instructions in a way like to set a wrist watch and no details what to do when....I went almost haywire to get this thing working without success for several hours, and I was almost sure that it had a defect... ready to return to B&H.After playing around with it until 1 in morning, I found the problem:Do not mount the back on the camera (which is easy), and then install the batteries!!!!!If you do that, you will go haywire like me.Just put the batteries in the back first, then install the back on your camera - make sure the camera is off while you are doing that!Follow this sequence and the back will work like a champ!By the way, there is nothing to connect or to install. Just take you back out, and set the new back in (the pins are springloaded). Certainly, have the batteries installed first.After your new back is installed, just turn your camera on and shoot as usual. You can then with time go through the instruction booklet step by step, set time and date, install the features you want - simple!Turn off what you don't want - simple!Use one, multiple, or no feature at all - as you wish...I don't really understand what should be wrong with this back. The adjustment buttons are safe behind a cover and accidental pressing is impossible. If one feature bothers you after you have installed it, just turn it off again...So watch out about the sequence of the batteries and installing - other than that, buy this thing, you will be happy! It improves your camera functions greatly - and looks better than my old wornout cover...I love my old F90x even more now which is finally complete.

I like it a lot. I take family pictures and printing the date on the pictures is very important, otherwise we would be unable to remember when we took the pictures, what the family looked at a certain date.
