The Majestic 1910 Gearhead with Swing Platform provides smooth movement and positive control of cameras weighing up to 35 pounds. This version only has a 1-7/8" tripod post connection (no screw connection).
The Gearhead features internal gears, rugged aluminum castings, and an oversized, self-locking crank. The head allows 90 degrees of forward tilt, 30 degrees of back tilt, and 15 degrees of tilt from left to right. Both American (1/4-20") and European (3/8") camera screws are supplied with each gearhead.
The Swing Platform is designed to support cameras up to medium format. It easily rotates the camera to positive stops without the use of cumbersome levers or knobs. The adjustable camera plate positions the lens axis over the center of the gearhead in either position.
Optional accessories for the Gearhead series include additional camera platforms and adapters for changing the tripod mount.
