The macro stand has been a great addition to my Nikon PB-6. I found it to be a useful tool to hold items like leaves and other flat items for macro photography. With this addition, I don't even need a table to take close-up photos.
I only gave it four stars as it has limitations and is a little pricey for how often I use it.
I would recommend it if you are doing a lot of macro photography.
