Consider this Bowens Gemini 3 head, 1500 watt/second total AC/DC monolight kit. The Gemini 500G operates with 110-120VAC or its own optional Travel Pak Battery System. When away from AC power, the optional Travel-Pak is able to power two monolights simultaneously, with a total power of up to 1500 w/s. It is capable of recycling one 500 w/s unit to full charge in 4.5 seconds, and can offer one unit over 200 full-power flashes on a single charge.
The monolights can power down to 1/32 power, which makes them very suitable for use with digital cameras, and for augmenting sunlight outdoors. The 250 watt modeling lights may be powered down with the main power.
This kit is completed with two umbrellas, reflectors, and a Bowen's 39.5 x 39.5" softbox, which soften the light for a portrait. Also included are light stands. The deluxe wheeled kit bag telescopes and accommodates all kit components.

Comments about Bowens Esprit Gemini Three Monolight Kit (120VAC/12VDC):
This was my first opportunity to work with Monolights. I was photographing the interiors of several vehicle (12 to be exact)and also training a non-photographer to do the same. I needed a sure-fire, simple, easy to use system and this monolight kit fit the bill. The kit came with everything I needed (lights, stands, reflectors, umbrellas, softbox, sync cord, case). Although I would have liked to have just one more light, the three light system met my needs. Since there is no power pack, I did not have to worry about driving over all kinds of cords while we moved the vehicles in and out of the set. My assistant found it very easy to learn how to adjust the power and make other adjusts to the lights.

Comments about Bowens Esprit Gemini Three Monolight Kit (120VAC/12VDC):
Pros: Very powerful, solid build, easy to use controls and comes with everything you need to get started. Strong Solid light stands. Great price for a 3 head kit.
Cons: Kind of heavy, no room in case for ANYTHING else, not even a light meter.
One of my light heads was defective (the lever that releases the protective cover was broke when it arrived) Contacted B&H and they made the return process very easy and painless, aside from that, I am sure I will use this kit for many years to come. I highly recommend this set up for any photographer advanced amateur on up.
