Comments about Swarovski 8x30 WB SLC Binocular (Green):
These are great binoculars for their size. I own Swarovski 10 x 50s but these are too large for sporting events with constant use. I tested many in its class and went with the SLC. I use these at events and purchased them shortly before this year's NCAA tournament which I attend annually. They were great for this purpose. Light and very bright, requiring only occasional focusing regardless of where the action was on the court. Unfortunately you pay a lot for the quality; hence my 4-star rating.
Comments about Swarovski 8x30 WB SLC Binocular (Green):
I wish these were not so expensive but beats anything in its class; I tested all of them (Zeiss, Leica, etc.).

Lightweight, super clear optics. Was able to pick out antlers in dark shade among brush. No eye strain over 5 solid days of glassing in Colorado Rockies.

Comments about Swarovski 8x30 WB SLC Binocular (Green):
Picked Sworovski over both Nikon and Leupold. While not a lightweight, these Swarovskis are clear edge to edge and really shine when looking in the shadows or pre-dawn and post-dusk. Was able to locate a 7x7 monster elk lurking in heavy timber in the pine shadows in the Gila which led to a successful stalk. The only other brand that is comprable is Leica.

I have used these binoc for hunting and travel for many years. they are almost indestructible,I once even dropped them from the back of an elephant in Cambodia. No damage, the rubber armor works. Clear view, light gathering and eye relief are all excellent.

Comments about Swarovski 8x30 WB SLC Binocular (Green):
I use the Binocular for game viewing, hunting and birding. They quality of the lenses are exceptional especially in low light conditions. It might be abit on the heavy side but this makes it robust. Lens covers do not work to well.

Comments about Swarovski 8x30 WB SLC Binocular (Green):
Just got back from a 3 week African Safari. It was a perfect place to compare my Swarovski at different times of the day at different lighting conditions with other poeple's binoculars (they had very well known brands...). No one could even come close to the Swarovski's clarity, crispness, and the generous amount of light (especially at early dawn and late dusk). Two poeple were going to buy upon their return to the USA..... Worth its price.
