This system is beautifully made and has been a pleasure to use so far. Because this is one set of a multi-part system there are some configurations where the knobs are hard to reach. I'm an Engineer by profession so I'm used to working with complex precision machinery. Short sections of silicon rubber tubing slipped over the offending knobs as extensions help these work just fine.
Otherwise the thing is smooth and precise It's also solidly built and won't drop your camera. It's not a 'micro-positioning' stage so it may be too course at very high magnifications but it's fine for 1:1 and it's under $5K. It's perfect for my flowers and bugs and very nice for macro work for product photography and machine troubleshooting and documentation also. With that there was justification to buy it 'for work' :)
It's nice to be able to place my camera where I actually want it without depending in my tripod heads for fine adjustments. I'm happy with it.

I use this product in close-up photography to make focusing and framing adjustments. It works very well, robustly built etc. However, locking the camera QR plate to the system takes some effort if the camera is heavy, the locking screw is fairly small for the purpose. Also, when taking the camera off, you need to be careful not to hurt your fingers. But other than that it's a very good product.
