The Califone 3432IR Cassette Recorder/Player is ideal for large classrooms. It features an infrared transmitter that accommodates up to 20 pairs of wireless headphones.
Alternatively, up to 6 pairs of headphones can be connected through the 1/8" jacks on the back of the unit. A 1/4" jack can feed an external speaker or a seventh pair of headphones. Cue and review and a two-way counter assist in finding lessons on tapes. Automatic level control and the built-in microphone allow for high-quality recording of lessons. The built-in handle makes transport easy.
- Infrared Headphone Transmitter
- The infrared transmitter provides audio for up to 20 pairs of wireless headphones, each up to 15 feet away from the unit.
- 7 Headphone Inputs
- Six of the headphone inputs are dedicated 1/8" headphone jacks; the other is a 1/4" input that can feed a pair of headphones or an external speaker.
- Internal Microphone With ALC
- Record lessons through the recorder's internal microphone. Automatic Level Control assures you of good quality recording.
- AC/DC Operation
- This recorder can be powered by the AC cord or by six C batteries (sold separately).
- Auto Stop Mechanism
- Auto Stop prevents motor and tape damage by stopping at the end of a cassette.
- Cue And Review
- Audibly search a tape at high speed during fast-forward or rewind.
- 3-Digit Counter
- The mechanical counter works forwards and backwards helps you find important sections of the tape.
