The Paterson Pop Up Photobox quickly opens up to a 48" cube style table top light tent ideal for photographing small still life and product photos. The white translucent sides and top efficiently diffuse your flash or tungsten light, leading to very soft lighting effects.
Suggested use: a 3 - 4 handbag set up. It comes with 1 black and 1 white background cloth.

This light tent is enormous. Yes you might measure out 48" cubed and think, yeah that's big, but when you actually set it up you'll be amazed.
My only complaint about this would be that you pretty much have to set it up on the ground to keep it stable (unless you have a table larger than 48" x 48", in which case awesome!). Otherwise she's perfect for photographing large objects such as computer towers (which is one of the reasons I needed it to be so big).
Be prepared to purchase extra lights. This guy is so large that most single bulb strobes/continuous lights will just wash out in the space. I ended up grabbing 2x floor-standing halogen lights from a local store to help throw light at my subject. So I have 5 lights going at once to try to minimize shadows.

pops up very fast (stand back or you may get whacked)
Has black & white inserts. A bit wrinkly but works ok.
Good deal for as big as it is.

I love it!There are other brands out there but this fits well within my budget range.Sadly, when I got it, I took the background to the dry cleaners and I think the dry cleaners had their machine being too hot and the background started to burned.Just be careful about the background. As far as the photo box goes, it does what you need it to do.Folding instruction did not come with it. I had to search around on interfit's website.samples:[@]

I use the pop-up photo box to shoot objects including a collection of glass.
The light diffusion can't be beat since the objects are surrounded on all sides.
It can be a little difficult to re-collapse. I tend to store it flat without collapsing it.
I would like an even larger one!

We use the tent for products for web and bid presentations. For the money, this is a great item. Plenty of room and I received a white, blue and black backdrop. Great item.

Comments about Interfit 48" Pop Up Photo Box:
This box is made of a shoot thru fabric, not the "silk" style acrylic fabric that most boxes that I've shot with before are made from. This diffusion is really beautiful, much more so than the aforementioned fabric. It's construction is sold, but not overly heavy duty. We used it outside and had no problem with it moving too much in the wind. Both of these features are both sources of frustration though. The fabric makes it difficult to style anything made of a jersey or heavier weave fabric and the thick support bars keep it from collapsing down into the provided carrying case.

Needed it for product photography and figured I'd get the biggest one since I didn't know how big the products would be in the future. This thing is so big that I can fit children in it! As far as pricing it costs as much as a tiny one in the store. Very excited. Only down side is that it's pretty hard to fold up and there were no instructions...

The unit seems to work well in saving me from building a tent around reflective items, though I haven't used it yet for something as tough as jewelry.
I would have given 5 stars, but there were no instructions whatsoever and, unexpectedly, the "background" fabric included was black, not blue as pictured.
I haven't re-folded it yet! :)

This light box was perfect for the project for which I bought it and evenly balanced the light. It's also so large I can crawl inside so it could be used for many purposes. Collapsing it is a bit tricky due to the shear scale of it and the background included is more navy than the image shows. Overall a good product and purchase.

Popped it up and went right to work. Needed to go bigger then the 36" and this 48" Is big enough to sleep in. Products fit easier with the same ease of use.It is a little wrestle to get it back in the pouch but it finally bends to your will. [...]
