ART USBPhonoPlus v2 - USB Audio Interface with Stand-Alone Phono Preamplifier
The USBPhonoPlus v2 from ART is the perfect solution for connecting a turntable to a computer, to archive vinyl records or for recording the source to CD. The unit connects to the computer via USB 1.1 for the ultimate in convenience, but can also function as a stand-alone phono preamp for use in any home music situation.
v2 adds better pre or post monitor source selection and a dedicated volume control for the headphone output. Analog I/O is facilitated via RCA phono connectors, while digital connectivity includes optical S/PDIF I/O and a coaxial stereo S/PDIF input. The addition of digital I/O allows the unit to act as a digital audio to USB interface, in addition to a regular line level analog audio to USB converter.
The unit can be powered using the supplied power adapter, or via USB from a host computer and has been designed to work with Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP and Mac OS 9 and above. It requires no special drivers.
