I purchase loads of camcorder batteries for our College's digital media program. My experience with the Impace batteries is that they work well for about a year, then they no longer take a full charge. After 2 years, throw them out. Panasonic brand will easily last 4 or more years... but they do cost a bit more.

This battery performed well on a recent trip to Africa. I needed all the power and length of run that was advetised and I was not disappointed. I would reccommend this battery over the orginal equipment as it give you 2 times as much run time with no balance or shift problems and also does not increase camera size to any noticable extent.

After First use and fly back to Israel I coudn't charge the battery. (I try it on other chargers and the old battery charge O.K).
