The Beyerdynamic CV-18 is a phantom power adapter and preamplifier for Opus and MCE series microphones, wired with a mini 4-pin XLR connection. The CV-18 features a mini 4-pin male, and standard 3-pin XLR male connections. The adapter simply allows mini 4-pin wired Opus and MCE series microphones to connect to standard XLR microphone inputs and receive standard +48V phantom power.
