The PIP-CLP from Crown Audio is a programmable module designed for use with Com-Tech, Macro-Tech, and Studio Reference amplifiers. The module installs into the back of your amplifier, and will rapidly reduce the amplfier's input gain when its output reaches the clipping threshold. The change is fast yet audibly undetectable. The PIP-CLP provides an additional 13dB of headroom, making it virtually impossible to overload the amplifier.
