I use this for product shots and macro still life.
It turns your kitchen table into a studio. I use 3 flashes, one above, and the other two on the sides, or sometimes one side and behind. Setup is quick and easy, and the price is very reasonable for what you get in this package.
You have to be a little creative in its use, there are access ports on several sides, and you can position it in portrait or landscape orientations.
The material diffuses the light very well, and it is easy to create an even, soft lighting environment. Larger objects are harder to light from the front, so I usually use some reflectors near the camera as fill.
There are a variety of zippers and velcro bits, which may appear in your photos. The interior space is fairly small, so sometimes to get the angle you want a bit of cloning is required to clean up the background. A white piece of cloth is included to hide these areas, but it is heavily creased from the packaging.
All in all, a very nice little unit. It folds flat and comes with a carry case. I only wish I had bought this years ago.

I used this to photograph small products for a new business. Works well for what I needed it to do.
I used two exterior lights and set it up high on a table to match my desired tripod length.
The two black and white back drops needed some ironing and they worked o.k.
Lots of access points which is very nice and lots of velcro points for different back drop positions.
a little flimsy and it can be difficult to get it to sit level since the bars move a bit, but you can weigh it down or manipulate the rods a bit.

Comments about Impact Digital Light Shed - Large:
Easy to set up, sturdy, but flexible. Good quality construction. Nice carrier. Good diffusion, but sometimes needed an additional diffuser (using speedlights). Like the large removeable bottom panel (useful for outdoor flower/cactus work), like that it can be used as a tall tent shooting through the open bottem too. Good object access and good camera placement, though the zippers could be longer.
The only cons (not huge) are the included fabric backgrounds. Only black and white. Severely creased (but ironable). The bigger issue is that the well designed and thoughtfully placed velcro holders in the corners of the tent use the soft fuzz and have the hooks on the fabric. If they'd put the the hook tape in the tent, you could easily buy a brushed fabric and jam them on there. As is, you have to buy fabric, and put on hook tape.

I used this light shed with my flash on a lightstand pointing straight at the top of the light shed while doing some small product photography although this is spacious enough to use on larger items too. It worked perfectly for what I needed to do.
The only negative to me is that the background cloth is only large enough to use the light shed through the small end (it drapes down the small side and across the length of the bottom. It would be nice if it would drap down the long edge and had enough material to continue across the bottom.

I use this for product photography.
I think that because it is enclosed and has a semi transparent material it helps a lot with controlling light.
The only thing I do not like about it is it is not very sturdy. You can not clip anything on to it or place on top of it without risking it to collapse, but even so there are work arounds for this and I feel it is worth it.

We have been trying to find a way to photograph the gerbils, hamsters and other small animals that come into our shelter, looking for a new home. This is just what we needed. We can place a gerbil inside, poke the camera lens in and shoot without worry that its going to slip away and run under a door.

Photographing jewelry is a demanding task. The beauty of the jewelry must be shown so it will translate into catalog photos or online listings. The light shed modulates light perfectly. Small items - rings and bracelets - may be hung by thread from the walls. Every side of the shed can be used, enabling access from the sides, top and bottom. It folds up neatly, ready to be stowed until the next shooting assignment.

I purchased this for my wife for Christmas to sell her pottery on Esty. I am VERY pleased with it using my DSLR doing a couple shots for product photography examples for a friend of mine.
Velcro is REALLY tight, box is very study, and folds away very nicely. Only complaint I have is the zipper opening are TO tight for my wife's point n shoot . You have to basically have two people to operate the box when a product is completely inside (w/o opening a panel).
However, we will solve by putting in our back room and only letting her shoot at night so it's dark and you can keep a panel open.
9/10 product.

We have been involved in photographing packaged goods and product shots, but with a limited budget and minimal equipment available. We were having trouble eliminating glare and reflection. This affordable light shed allowed us to eliminate the issue and with how easily it is set up and taken down, we were able to utilize it without compromising effectiveness.

Great pieece of tool for product shoots, only wish that the manufacture could use a better quality of thread on the velcro. Other than that, it is a great tool.

I used it for photographing small mammals for scientists. It worked great. It is easy to open and store. The openings are OK, but a little limiting. Good design and it will be flexible for different uses. More time is needed to evaluate its durability and all around usefulness.

I am using this to shoot products for a web site and it has made a big difference. I like the fact you can easily turn it for taller items. It is fast to set up instructions are clear and I like the choice of white or black backgrounds.

I bought this for some jewelry shots I wanted to do.
Product is well made and comes with some nice extras. I like that it folds legnth-wise so wrinkles at as much of a problem. This also makes it larger folded up. The included bag was a nice touch.
Can't really think of any cons. The fabric might give a slightly bluish cast but it's easily fixed in post-processing.

I shoot small items, including coins, and this is the ticket. Try to shoot a coin in any light condition without a shed, it's difficult at best. I have shot many small items in this shed. I do also use the lights that come with it.

Well made, like the (zippered) access from around. No documentation with mine so, still not sure how the translucent plastic pieces work. Also, the size of the White background is bigger than the size of the back of my light shed so, not able to utilize it.
