I bought this battery pack to power the Canon Selphy CP800 printer that I also bought from B&H Photo,to be used at events. As in the past with other Canon products, the battery pack performed as expected with no problems at all.After the initial charge up time, I am able to print all day at the car shows and other functions that I attend.

This product is easy to use. Just like anything you use for the first time, you must read the instructions to better understand the product and its capability. I used this product Dec 24, 2010 through Jan 17, 2011 and I am pleased with the battery life. I used the Canon NB-CP2L battery with the Canon CP-800 portable photo printer and it was a success during gatherings with family and friends. Taking pictures and printing them right away was a crowd pleaser. My family and friends were amazed with the idea of a battery capable of supplying power to operate a portable photo printer and they were very happy to see their pictures print right before their eyes. In my opinion, the price for this battery is expensive. It would have been wonderful if the manufacture included the optional battery with the portable photo printer as a package deal at a reasonable cost; as opposed to selling the battery and printer separately. However, with that said, I did purchase the optional battery. I now have true portability to print photos just about anywhere anytime. Though each picture I print may cost a little more than if I were to go elsewhere to have the prints done; just seeing my family and friends joyous smiles outweighs the extra cost for me to print pictures conveniently right there and now. And last of all, I recommend you purchase a sturdy carrier bag to protect your investment. Make sure you purchase a carrier bag that can hold your printer, optional battery, cords, accessories, supplies, etc. Overall, I am satisfied with my Canon battery purchased through BH Photo Video and look forward to long term use of this battery.
