The Giottos Rocket Air Blower is made from a silica gel, it is very powerful and refills quickly.
The Rocket Air has an air valve to prevent it from breathing in dust and blows out a powerful stream of air to blow dust away, to make cleaning lenses, cameras, filters a breeze.
- It stands upon its own and can be set on its side upon a table without rolling around
- Made of a nontoxic, environmentally friendly material, resistant to both high and low temperatures, tear-proof

The stronger, bigger Rocket Blower is unhandy for my belt pack or pocket, but camera surfaces need cleaning outdoors even more often, and wiping lenses or filters is even more dangerous outdoors. The somewhat weaker stream of the smaller, easier to pack small blower is adequate -- just takes a little longer to get the last specks sometimes. Given that a Rocket Blower is essential to keep with photographic equipment at all times, this one fills the outdoor niche.

I bought this blower mainly for removing sensor dusts. I must have some stubborn dusts that sticked to my sensor. After blowing it four times I still have not removed most of the dusts. Also, I think it is best to use this blower with two hands: one hand to hold and aim the blower tube, while use the other hand to squeeze the bulb. If you plan on using this device just to blow off dust on a lens, then it functions as advertised.

Takes up less precious space in a camera bag, and seems perfectly adequate for the field. I'm not sure why the fins were retained in this version since it probably would not be set down on a flat surface when not in use. Also, an intake filter might be a good addition since in the field it seems more likely to inhale dust.

It's cute and does a pretty good job blowing the dust away. I like that the air intake is from the back, so all the dust you're blowing away stays away!
Very durable.
I wish it had a little more gust, which I suppose the medium and large versions have. You most likely will need to supplement with a microfiber cleaning cloth.

I bought the large and the small. It is great to buy both. Large for home use and small for travel. If I had to buy just one. I would recommend buying the small one. Still very powerful. Works almost as good as the large and much more portable.

I debated between which size to get. If you are traveling, get the small because it is more than enough and it won't take too much space in your camera bag. If you plan to clean your lenses at home get the medium or large since they are more powerful. I like the design of this product!
