Altough I don't use this case for Photography equipment it is a great fit. I have to carry very sensitive electronic parts along with my tools in this case and at times travel with it and have yet to arrive with damaged parts.

It fits my 1560 case perfectly. The dividers are light-weight and easy to manipulate into almost any configuration. I had read complaints about it's inability to accommodate long items. I was able, with some deep thought, to puzzle out how to get some long shotgun mics in there. For the money you pay, the build quality is only fare, but it does the job. For the price, I would have also liked to see some closed compartment for small stuff included. Over all, it's the only game in town, and it works.

This is a must have if you are using the 1560 for camera equipment. I wish there was at least one divider that was 20 inches across. I wanted to make a slot for a monopod and light stand and had to make one from a couple dividers. Would be much better to have at least one large one. The entire divider is not covered with the soft side of Velcro like Lightware and Tenba or Tamarac bags.

The covering is a bit loose as noted by another reviewer also, otherwise a needed and useful divider set. Makes the case much more usable then without or with just the foam.

The insert I received is not of the same fabrication quality as what is received when ordered directly from Pelican. It still serves the purpose of protecting my expensive gear so I really can't complain too much.

Perfect for two Nikon D3 bodies, 70-200mm and plenty of room for five more lens, 2-SB-900 strobes and SU-800, extra camera batteries, Epson P-6000, chargers and cables. I prefer the padded dividers over the foam because the foam breaks apart and difficult to cut. As always I am completely satisified with B&H [...] prices.

This divider really is a blessing compared to the foam that may come with your Pelican case! With time and use the foam wears and starts to come apart. The divider set is also reconfigurable, unlike the foam. As your kits changes/grows you can switch the dividers up.

Pelican has changed its foam and its divider sets to a completely different design without even a heads up. On even some of they're larger cases, 15-20 piece divider sets have become 9 pieces for more money. They also change from a hard plate, surrounded by ballistic nylon to something soft you would find in [...]for 5 dollars. Probably one of the most important parts of they're cases has become garbage.

I use this padded divider set as a divider in my toolbox.

It is superb, compared to the pickout foam I hat before. No unsorted and unstable holes in the foam but the clean and stable dividers, It even allows me to have a gallon more room inside the pelican case.

A little con: one or two longer dividers would make it perfect, you do not run out of small dividers but at least I would use on more long divider.

We use Pelican cases, and order the padded divider version. However the 1560 case was a giveaway price but no foam or divider. Just remember to buy the case the first time with this over the foam. Foam decays and black particles end up everywhere.
