Comments about Hoya 52mm Clear Pro 1 Digital Multicoated Glass Filter:
This will be pretty simple. I put the filter on and then forget about it! It's thin, light, yet protects the front element of the lens. It's obviously well made, and I literally don't have to give it a second thought, unless I manage to break it or scratch it, which is unlikely. It quite obviously does not affect my photos. For a lens protector, what more could you ask for?

Used on Digital Zuiko 50mm ED F2.
Tested on this lens with or without protection in strong and low light on different subjects and observed that it is not altering image quality.

Comments about Hoya 52mm Clear Pro 1 Digital Multicoated Glass Filter:
Terrific filter to protect my Nikon 50mm and 35mm lenses. It has no adverse effect on image quality at all. Others have stated this in their reviews also. Just great protection from scratches to your lens with compromising the quality of your photos.

Its perfect if your looking for a filter that doesnt have any effects and protects your lens. pretty strong but not industrucible. for the price your getting the most bang for your buck. but if your looking for something a little stronger with no effects and willing to spend more money, Hoya offers the HD filters.

Comments about Hoya 52mm Clear Pro 1 Digital Multicoated Glass Filter:
Don't go cheap on filters, I learned that the hard way. Only one I've used yet that didn't hinder focus or give me less than sharp images. I am not a filter person but felt it necessary with beach photography. I'll only buy Hoya from here on out.

Comments about Hoya 52mm Clear Pro 1 Digital Multicoated Glass Filter:
Protection of my gear is very important. I tried Tiffen, Quantaray, B&W, and finally Hoya filters. I have to say that the Hoya Pro 1's are definitely the best so far. It actually feels like a GLASS filter, not plasticy. The construction of the filter is very solid, but still feels light as a feather.
I've took pictures with and without the filter to see if there was any noticable affects, but was happy to learn that filtered image was as clear and pure bare lens.
