Comments about Hoya 72mm Circular Polarizing Pro 1 Digital Multi-Coated Glass Filter:
I use this filter on a Nikon 18-200mm VR DX lens and I find that it enriches the color and minimizes reflected glare pretty well. I can't compare it to the very high end versions on the market but I think I got my money's worth. Hoya appeared to be well regarded, enough to make me consciously avoid bargain polarizers. The slim profile eliminates vignetting but the anti-glare coating comes at the price of cutting down on the allowable light. So, it needs to be removed for indoor use which unfortunately obligates me to always have the storage case handy. That is the only annoyance because to a small degree it defeats the convenience of having a good all-purpose wide range lens. While I no longer have to walk around with a camera bag with extra lenses I still have to carry the big 72mm acrylic case that does not easily slip into a pocket. Overall it's a really good filter that I recommend.

Comments about Hoya 72mm Circular Polarizing Pro 1 Digital Multi-Coated Glass Filter:
I've only used it once. Just got it! I took it out on a bright, winter day with snow cover and lots of blue sky with puffy, white clouds. The filter slowed down my shutter speed a little but it really brought out the sky and other color. The world and my pictures look a lot better when this filter takes away the glare that is normally there on a real bright day.
My polarizer is 72mm. It has the appearance of a precision optical instrument. I like its thin, light design. If it weren't for its darkness, you wouldn't even know it is there.
I wish I had a better carrying case for it. The factory packaging is a little large and bulky and I doubt it's plastic container would stand up to much rough handling.
I have other Hoya products and I have confidence in the brand.

Comments about Hoya 72mm Circular Polarizing Pro 1 Digital Multi-Coated Glass Filter:
I have a number of filters from Hoya and I've never had a problem with any of them. This thin polarizer has a very nice design... it is easier than most filters to grip and install/remove on the lens because the mounting ring has texture. It also allows lens caps to fit over the filter, which many thin filters (at least older designs I've seen) can't do. Other than the nice design, it works well.

Totally sweet. Thin, lightweight. Don't use any lens without a Hoya Pro 1 digital filter.
