I purchased this mouse pad because my wrist sat on the edge of my desk previously and I would get a tingling sensation in my arm. After using this mouse pad for a couple of weeks I feel an improvement.

I had the same mouse pad by Belkin for years, and it was great! Actually, if you read my review of mid August 2010 you'll see that I simply passed my old one on to my aunt figuring this new one would last indefinitely, as well.
It's not quite 6 months since I started using the new pad, and the fabric has separated from the gel wrist support underneath = bunching, crimping and general discomfort using it now.
Also, the gel support itself has developed a significant indentation in the center which never happened with my first one.
I'm really surprised and puzzled by all this, quite disappointed and not sure what to do to resolve this issue.

Stinks and the smell stays on your hand. You will have to leave it outside for a while or your office will fill up with a toxic smell. No kidding! I guess it comes from the petroleum foam used to make this product. Other than that the shape and feel is fine.

I never new a mouse pad could make a difference. I thought they were all equal & made the same. Well now using a pad with a built in gel cushion, has changed my thoughts. I never realized how uncomfortable my wrist was, It feels so great, hopefully it last a long time, seems like it will. I can sit on Photoshop for hours now, and my wrist feels great!

This is my second one. The first one I cleaned and gave to my great aunt for the new - refurbished, actually - Mac that I set up for her. Nothing wrong with the first one, either. After cleaning it, which was very easy to do, it's almost like new! It's an excellent mousepad ... really is.

It started out fine, but within a week the wrist rest area had sort of collapsed, so that it's now a depressed area in the middle with a ridge on either side (one close to the mouse, running the length of the mousepad, and one on the very edge of the pad).
This concentrates a lot of the pressure onto certain parts of my wrist, and at this point I think I might be better off with a flat mouse pad.
