The Bose CineMate digital home theater speaker system makes it easy to enjoy the power of a home theater experience using your TV and video components, like a DVD player or VCR. There's no bulky equipment, complicated wiring or confusing installation. And there are no center or rear speakers. Just two front speakers and a hideaway Acoustimass module (Subwoofer) bring movies and music to life with four quick connections. A universal infrared remote controls your system and most devices attached to your television

Articulated Array Speaker Design
Each speaker has a ported enclosure with two precisely angled drivers. Designed to deliver a multichannel presentation from just two visible speakers. The result is a home theater experience with broad, spacious soundstage and strong center imaging.
Acoustimass Module
The Acoustimass module for the 3.2.1 DVD system and Cinemate speaker system works in concert with the small speakers to deliver the full range of sound. Produces low frequencies for all channels with no audible distortion. When the module is tucked behind a curtain or chair, all of the sound seems to come directly from the two arrays
