The apochromatic refractor is the telescope design which produces the most breathtaking contrast and resolution, and Tele Vue offers a 60mm class version for the ultimate in portability. You won't get the light gathering capacity per dollar of Newtonian reflectors nor the portability for aperture of Schmidt-Cassegrain. The Tele Vue-60 is just 10" long with a quick-focus drawtube and fine focus helicoid. No bigger than a coffee table book, it works with inline porro prisms, 60° diagonals and 90° diagonals. A bit unorthodox looking, it nonetheless gives more stunning terrestrial views than comparably-priced conventional "prismatic" spotting scopes. Perhaps a bit on the heavy side, but you will be awed by its performance.

Compact and lightweight, the Tele Vue Qwik-Point Finderscope is a simple and easy to use finderscope that's also easy to align.

Unlike others, Tele Vue prisms and mirror diagonals begin life as one solid chunk of metal-which is then continually refined to produce what you see before you now.  This is a huge asset because there's nothing within the prism or diagonal which could unscrew and cause a heavy, expensive eyepiece to drop.

The 45° Erecting Prism gives an upright but laterally reversed image, which great for stargazing.  Prisms and diagonals with 45° viewing angles offer simple shared viewing for observers of differing heights.

The Tele Vue DCZ-2408 Zoom 8-24mm 1.25" Eyepiece is a versatile zoom eyepiece that features many improvements. Its new eye guard construction accepts Tele Vue DIOPTRX, the lens accessory that replaces eyeglasses by correcting for eyesight astigmatism.

Since only the Tele Vue zoom includes the unique click-stop feature (8mm, 12mm, 16mm and 24mm) critical for use with binocular viewers, DIOPTRX capability completes the performance potential for devotees of binocular viewing.

The Tele Vue TV-60 Carry Bag is a padded nylon bag made to carry a Tele Vue-60 telescope. It has a custom foam interior with cutouts for scope, dovetail adapter bar, 60° Everbrite diagonal and 3 eyepieces. The bag is carried by a padded hand grip or a removable adjustable shoulder strap with shoulder pad.
