The Denon DN-X900 is a highly versatile, cost effective four-channel mixer that is designed to suite the needs of professional touring DJs, home DJs and nightclub installations. The DNX-900 features a total of four channels with two phono (turntable) inputs and up to ten line-level inputs (eight are dedicated, two are phono / line switchable).

Four 24-bit digital inputs are provided for receiving signal digitally from CD players and mp3 players. Two 24-bit digital outputs provide stereo routing to computer audio cards, CD recorders, etc. The mixer's internal routing matrix enables any input signal to be routed to any channel without re-wiring. Reaching over to CD recorders to mark IDs while in the middle of recording a set is a thing of the past. Denon's Track Mark function allows DJs to remotely mark track IDs while digitally connected to CD recorders.

The DN-X900 delivers Denon's high quality sound and every channel features a three-band EQ with kill on High, Mid and Low frequencies. 60mm VCA channel level and fader ensures smooth, accurate transitions and level stability. The DN-X900 features a send and return to external effects processors. The external Send/Returns are assignable to any input channel and provides Dry/Wet, Effect Cuing and On/Off controls.

With additional features that include balanced XLR outputs and Fader Start support for mp3 and CD players, the Denon DN-X900 will prove to be a reliable workhorse mixer in any touring rig and nightclub DJ booth.

Comments about Denon DJ DN-X900 DJ Mixer:

I had HIGH expectations for this mixer (Since I live by the Denon 3500's) but was let down after purchasing it. Don't get me wrong, it has some nice features but there were more things that I did not like about it as compared to what I liked.

1. Headphone sound - got very noisy and distortd in my ear.

2. 3 Channel EQ - the treble and mid was fine but the +6 db for the "low" was horrible.

3. The overall sound quality of this was very flat. My older mixer that I was looking to replace has a much cleaner sound.
I had to run the x900 through an EQ to get it to sound decent.

4. Track marker - I was so excited to utilize the track marker when recording, only to find out that there aren't many recorders that accept the track marker. Basically, you'd have to go and buy a digital recorder that does accept the "marker".

I still love my Denon products but this one has missed the mark in my opinion......
