The Quantum FreeXwire 7Q mounts directly flush onto a Qflash 4d or 5d series flash, with no need for any connection cords. With the FW9T or FW10w transmitter mounted on the camera (with the FW12 Hot Shoe Adapter) it is now possible to trigger the Qflash completely wireless. Or, add a D or Dw series QTTL adapter to the camera and transmit the camera's f/stop, ISO, and TTL exposure information to the remote Qflash 5d.

Comments about Quantum Instruments FreeXwire 7Q Compact Wireless Digital TTL Receiver:
I use these receivers on my 2 T5DR's with the Trio on my camera. These units are small and light weight and attach easily to the side of the T5DR. Total control of the remote flashes from my camera mounted trio. I have the remotes set in separate groups which allows me to change ratios individually for all 3 flashes. The best TTL, works every time.

Comments about Quantum Instruments FreeXwire 7Q Compact Wireless Digital TTL Receiver:
If you have a T5D or T4D, this is nice because no wires are hanging all over. On our equipment it fires 90% of the time... I can't figure out when it doesn't fire why that is. The only thing I can think of is sometimes the antennae on the Freewire unit attached to the camera isn't straight out?

Comments about Quantum Instruments FreeXwire 7Q Compact Wireless Digital TTL Receiver:
I haven't had it long enough to give it 5 stars but I know it will live up to it.
I switched from Pocket Wizards and I love the fact that I do not have to have any additional wires hanging from my Q5d. This just pluge in and with the supplied velcro it stays put.
Consistant tigering.

This product works very well. The only difficult thing is ordering and figuring out what to buy and what cables to get. Once ordered it is simple to use. This is wireless and once tested is extremely easy to use even on a bad day. My friends are jealous.
