Comments about Phonic PAA3 - Handheld Audio Analyzer:
Simple, easy to use, even for a non-audio engineer. Nice upgrade from a basic SPL meter. Remote operation from a laptop worked fine. Software was a little simplistic, but adequate. Jog control on side is a nice touch. I use both sets of controls interchangeably, just depending on where my hand is positioned.

Comments about Phonic PAA3 - Handheld Audio Analyzer:
I have had the opportunity to use the PAA 3 in 3 buildings so far and am very pleased with it's operation. It took a while to learn the best way to do RT60 measurements, and there doesn't seem to be a way to erase all the readings (an "all Clear") like there is in the EQ memories. It would be nice to eliminate the background in the EQ graphics, when they are printed out they could be easier to read.
Over-all I am very pleased with the unit.

Comments about Phonic PAA3 - Handheld Audio Analyzer:
I use this device for SPL level, RT 60 and RTA. It is nice to have all that in a compact device. It can also interface with your laptop. I have found it to be accurate and reliable.
The only down side is that the screen is hard to read.

Comments about Phonic PAA3 - Handheld Audio Analyzer:
The Phonic PAA3 is a simple, accurate, and incredibly useful tool for getting quick real time analysis whether you are tweaking a conference room or setting up a big audio production. I have used it for both applications though as a system closer for a leading AV systems integrator, this tool sees most of its use in the former. It's not as sophisticated and feature packed as more expensive RTA's, but for the price point it can't be beat. It has all the features you need to get accurate read outs for most audio applications.
