The Audio-Technica U873R is a hypercardioid handheld condenser microphone designed for vocal capturing during performance and speech applications. The U873R is suitable for both live sound and recording applications, delivering rich, smooth audio quality. The microphone capsule is removable and interchangeable. Additional omnidirectional and cardioid capsules are available. This hypercardioid polar pattern is most effective in minimizing off-axis audio and noise. The U873R is an excellent choice for singers, presentations, speeches and more.
