I use this stand to mount my Rode NTG-2 shotgun mike. Great for mounting any microphone. A little unstable but if you position it right it works fine. I like that it exstends up to 6 ft the use the boom to go up to 10 ft so i can get the shotgun mike over peoples heads without the microphone in the shot.

I sent them back. The tripods are too small and stability is poor. The metal boom handle rattles, the metal boom handle feels cheap and lacks tactile response, the boom joint is cheap and feels like it will not last. Adjustment knob was cheap.
I should have known better than to purchase a mic stand sight unseen. I wish the salesman was more honest when he recommended them as high quality at low cost.

Comments about On-Stage MS7701B Euro-Boom Mic Stand:
We use the Euro-Boom mic stand in our studio. Although it's tough to review a mic stand, we like this because the adjustments are easy to use and the stand is very solid. For us, it either works or it doesn't. The Euro-Boom mic stand works.

Comments about On-Stage MS7701B Euro-Boom Mic Stand:
The stand is great and works just fine. I use it with the AT2020 from Audio Technica and it works without a problem.
Definitely not the best stand for professionals, but if you are looking for a low price yet sturdy stand, this is the one to get.
No complaints so far and I would buy this again.

Comments about On-Stage MS7701B Euro-Boom Mic Stand:
Good stand at a great price. I wanted something simple, it didn't need to be super fancy, but it needed to do the job. This stand does just that. I like the fact that I can raise it over my head as though it's a hanging mic. It's pretty tall[...]All in all, pretty impressive.

Comments about On-Stage MS7701B Euro-Boom Mic Stand:
I love this mic stand. It's made of durable metal and is heavy enough not to move with normal use. I use it for my gaming videos I do on my YouTube channel, I record vocals for songs that I produce, and when I do indoor videos I use this mic stand to hold my mic as a secondary mic to my camera. I would recommend this to any who needs a stand that you can use to sit or stand.

This will work fine. Be gentle. Don't expect it to handle too much weight. Price was right when bundled with mic and cable.

The first mic stand Iv'e bought. Seems to work pretty good. You have to tighten it real hard to prevent it from loosening up.
So I'm pretty happy with it!

Good stand, adjuster works well. Even though the mechanics are not metal, the stand is relatively rigid and robust.

I am using the product in a kind of make shift environment for singing. None the less. I love this Mic stand because it is durable and pro quality. However, When I first set it up, My mic started falling off. Now, I had to look for ways for it to be tightened and tightened it. That is the only thing you have to worry about. Overall, good buy.

I use this stand in my home recording studio for recording vocals. So far, I haven't had any problems with it. Make sure to buy the AKG adapter under accessories because the stand just has a 5/8" male connector on it. No instructions come with the stand but it's not difficult to figure out.

Comments about On-Stage MS7701B Euro-Boom Mic Stand:
This is a nice little mic stand. Pretty straightforward, nothing fancy, gets the job done. Versatile, and very easy to adjust; you can use it to mic drums from above the kit, miking someone playing acoustic guitar sitting on a foldout chair, and anything in between.
