Heavy base insures your mic will stay put. I use mine with an RE20.

I use this stand as a voiceover artist during longer narration sessions and audiobooks. The height adjustment is perfect and easily accommodates both my vocal and shotgun microphones. Also, this little stand is HEAVY in the best possible way providing a very sturdy foundation -- it truly takes center stage. I bought an adapter with it as well for about a buck and all told, I can't imagine a better value for what I needed. Truly, no negative feedback on this one -- sorry!

There is nothing wrong with this stand in general. Seems to be a good one; however, I got it as part of the podcasting package [...]. The reason I give it 4 stars, instead of 5, is that it is not quite heavy enough to handle the Samson C01U Mic in it spiderstand. It works, but is not as stable as it would be if it were heavier and/or wider at the base. This is not a show stopper, but I would prefer a more solid-feeling solution.

This was perfect for me. I broadcast online and had to replace my previous stand since it was really horrible. Been loving this so far. It is easy to adjust and is very sturdy. have no problems whatsoever.

This is the ideal item to use with a wireless mic and then sit it on a desk or table top. We use our in our board room. We have it sitting on a desk so that the recording secretary can read back the minutes if needed. Makes it easy for her to read without having to pick up the mic everytime.

This is a great little stand for the price, I love that it breaks down and the base is heavy enough to hold a mic with a softie on it without falling over which is nice. I don't like that the the pole threads into the base as it could potentially get cross threaded but overall I would recommend this product and it fits in my audio production bag nicely once collapsed and disassembled.

I got this as part of a Samson USB Microphone package and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of it. It's a genuine pro-quality stand, not just a cheapo plastic simulation of one.

Holds my mic shock mount, mic, and pop filter with no problems. Although if you don't get it setup just right it can be prone to tilt on you a bit. Adjustable height is nice for variability. [...] works just dandy.
