The MA100 from On-Stage is a 3/8" male to 5/8" female screw adapter. This adapter allows you to attach items that utilize a 3/8" female thread onto Microphone stands with a 5/8" male thread.

This is simple but effective for what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size so it was not what I needed. Ordered a Manfrotto adapter instead that was more money and made of brass, but I wish it could have been cheaper like this one.

This little adapter was just what I needed to mount my studio monitors onto standard microphone stands. They work great so far, and seem to be very well made for the price.

Some Mic stands and Mic holders have European threads (3/8" 16) and some have American threads (5/8"). It is critial at times to be able to quickly connect one type with the other.
