Great mic holder, the choices of lenght makes sense, and the posi-lok system works very nicely and holds the boom in place in a better way than any other system I used.

I was looking for a small profile boom for a microphone set up with the new TC Helicon Voice Live Touch module. I wasn't really sure what the best length would be for the boom. This kit was perfect for me. I actually use two different lengths for two separate sets up I use when playing my guitars and using the Voice Live Touch unit. I love the locking system on this thing. I never have to worry about it coming loose when I am making smaller adjustments to the position of the mike or the height of the mike. B & H was the only place I found this unit in an online search of most of the other big online music retailers.

I use this boom accessory extension kit, # 8459, DUAL SWIVEL MOUNT MIC CLAMP ADAPT with my Samson SB100 giant studio overhead boom to giant staging flexibility when record live performances. Having the choice of three extensions lengths and the ability to combine together all three extensions solves many stage positioning issues.

Great value. The kit gives you flexibility in angle, position and extension. The locking mechanism is solid and has a good range of asdjustments. The various length extensions provide all the set-ups that I need for my mics.
