This Aquapac waterproof case will protect your compact point & shoot camera from the elements at the beach and during activities such as swimming, kayaking, skiing, fishing, sailing, snorkeling or diving.
The waterproof case is manufactured from custom-made polymer plastics bonded together using high-frequency radio welding. The ultra-clear LENZFLEX material allows you to get excellent quality when taking photos through the case. It is easy to operate the camera controls through the flexible material.
The case is designed with a plastic quick-action sealing system, called the Aquaclip, this makes the case 100% waterproof with a simple twist of two levers to a depth of 15' (4.5m). The Aquaclip ensures that the Aquapac always stays in one piece, even when open, eliminating the need for loose screws or folding of the case.
This Aquapac case is designed for compact point & shoot cameras. The camera needs to have a length no longer then 6" (152.4mm) and a circumference no larger then 10.2" (265mm). To make sure your camera fits in the case measure the circumference by stretching a piece of thread around the thickest part of the camera (include the lens fully extended). Then measure the thread with a ruler.

For what it is, it is great! I tried this in a pool, under water in the pool, and at the beach. You would have to be wearing goggles and be under water to know what you are taking pictures of under water. At the pool you don't have to worry about dropping in the water or getting splashed. At the beach it saved the camera from sand, sunblock on hands, and the salt water. I got great pictures except when a smudge got on the case near the viewer (probably from sunblock). Other than that, you could not tell I was taking pictures through a case. It's slightly awkward to use - but short of having a waterproof camera or case that fits your camera - this worked pretty good! You don't have to worry about sand or water ruining your camera! I was wishing I had thought to bring it when we went sight-seeing in the rain! It would have worked great for that too!

I bought the Aquapac as an alternative to more expensive waterproof camera cases. I used it on a recent vacation in Hawaii and found it is a little awkward to use in the water. I could not see the digital screen on my camera so I didn't get a lot of the shots I thought I was getting. You also need to be sure the lens is tight against the plastic or your shots will come out distorted. But, as a cheap alternative, it did keep my camera dry.

Great product. The screen can get a little blurry if not maintained well. It is a little difficult to handle the camera underwater from inside the case. Beyond that it works well. I was able to get some very good shots.

I bought this case for a snorkeling trip. After doing the bubble test I was comfortable using it with my camera. The long cord is great to hang around the neck when swimming. The case can also be used on the beach to protect your phone, etc from sand.

We bought this bag so we could take our point and shoot camera on kayaking and paddling trips. It did not disappoint. Whether on lakes, rivers or in the ocean, our camera stayed dry and worked well.
We have not had any real issues with picture distortion because of the plastic in front of the lens.
My only complaint is that the camera slides around in the bag and getting it set up in middle to take photos can be tricky with wet hands. It is also difficult to zoom in, since the plastic is tight and hard to reach the tiny zoom switch.
Still, this is better than any bulky plastic case. It is a winner.

This product worked exactly as promised and exceeded my expectations. I used it while snorkeling in the ocean. I had the lanyard around my wrist and dove down to ten or twelve feet repeatedly. While the water was too murky to expect good photos, the images in shallow water and at the surface of the water were great. I look forward to trying the Aquapac in the pool or in clearer water.

This underwater case is a great and affordable way to take beautiful pictures around and underwater. I took it to Dorney Park and Busch Gardens. Now I have pictures I never could have taken without having a waterproof camera. An addition you could put your cellphone in the case and not worry about it on water rides or getting wet where ever you are.

wow! hard to believe that this little case worked so great for some extra underwater shots that i used recently for a couple of effects shots for a music video that i'm putting together. With a little finesse, the clear front of it works amazingly well for keeping everything sharp and in focus when your underwater. others have complained that their camera got wet. i, on the otherhand, followed the directions, made sure it was properly sealed, and had no such problems. Hard to believe that I would have so much fun shooting underwater footage. and i'll definitely use this little gizmo again.

Comments about Aquapac Waterproof Case for Compact Point & Shoot Digital and Film Cameras:
The Aquapack for compact photo cameras proved useful during my snorkling holiday in Indonesia this year. Operation of the camera through the Aquapack was easier than for the barrel video camera for which I had also bought an Aquapack. There were two issues worth mentioning. One is the same as for the video Aquapack: is the plastic in front of the lens is not very flat, part of the image recorded by the camera will be distorted. The other is the pressure the water exerts on the camera lens. For my own camera, that was enough to prevent the camera from zooming in and out correctly. The camera of a friend did have a strong enough zoom mechanism to work properly. This might prevent you from getting any good pictures if your cameras zoom mechanism is not strong enough.
Most pictures you take will fail. But with a digital camera you can snap away without restraint, unlike with disposeable underwater film roll cameras. So take tons of pictures and you will get a few good ones.
The seal works easily and never leaked.

Purchased this dry bag for our snorkeling trip in Bermuda, this is a really good product for this price that i would recommend it to everyone! easy to use, we took 90% of our photos using this dry bag either underwater or just above water or on the beach. this is a perfect way to protect your camera from sand and moisture and photos are in good quality no matter taking photos of schools of fish underwater or feeding fishes above water or sunset on the beach (photos at [@]). just make sure you seal it properly and do a bubble test, overall very easy to use and you will enjoy it! i am a scuba diver/underwater videographer, of course you can't compare this dry bag to the professional underwater equipments. but i can assure you, this little bag for this price will not disappoint you.

This case is primarily used by my wife to make photos while we are doing boating, skiing, and swimming activities with our children and grandchildren.
It is easy to use--images are acceptably clear, and the camera is protected.
Probably goes without saying that you need to be sure that you have the seal closed properly! Not hard to do, but must be done carefully.

We bought this before going on our honeymoon to Key West. It worked great for us and allowed very clear pictures both under water and in the water while keeping the camera dry. Our camera was a little big for the one we bought but all of the smaller point and shoots should fit fine. Will continue to use this in the future.
