The Akai MPC2500 continues that company's legacy as the production tool of choice for musicians, producers and engineers, incorporating a 64-track MIDI sequencer with a 100,000-note capacity, stereo sampling, and 16 high-quality pressure- and velocity-sensitive trigger pads, into a relatively lightweight, laptop-sized machine with an unmistakable feel.
The MPC2500 is replete with an extensive selection of built-in stereo and Mastering effects, real-time onboard Q-link controllers, 8 separate individual analog outputs, a foldaway, backlit LCD display, and a remarkable ease of use in all facets of its' operation; thus the nearly 20 years that the MPC series has been in production.
