Sound source isolation during concerts or in the studio environment is a constant issue that needs to be address in the face of multiple microphone set-ups.
ClearSonic Panels (CSP) facilitate acoustic separation between instruments on stage or in the studio, helping reduce drum bleed into vocal or instrument microphones, and in the concert stage situation, allowing for a lower stage volume so that the performers can hear themselves better.
The IsoPac A is most probably more suited to the studio environment, particularly as a drum isolation booth, but could also be used in certain live situations. It consists of a seven-section clear acrylic panel system (A5-7,) seven 12" height extender panels (AX12,) sufficient light grey SORBER absorption panels to completely wrap around the lower part of the clear panel system, and to also form a "rear wall." A lid system and fan complete the kit.
The IsoPac A is easy to get in and out of. Since SORBER panels don't actually connect to the ClearSonic Panels, one can simply use an outside section of a SORBER system as a "door."
All SORBER products have a Class-A fire rating.

Comments about ClearSonic IsoPac A Isolation Package (Light Grey):
We purchased this drum shield for our church a few weeks ago and we are SOLD!! it is AWESOME!!!! Prior to purchasing this we owned a typical 5 piece plexiglass shield you could purchase at any local music store without any sobers or roof. With this existing system, the acoustics in the sanctuary when the drums were being played went out the door as the plexiglass shield only diverted the sound rather than shield it. We researched this clearsonic shield and made the purchase through B&H on a Monday hoping to receive it before the end of the week for a huge gig. We thought it was impossible to obtain the item in such quick order given all the documentation regarding 2 weeks lead time etc however after calling B&H customer service and subsequently paying a small rush fee the item was received by the Thursday evening of the same week. Assembly was performed by 2 people and took roughly 2.5 hours. The sound reduction is amazing. Now we have complete control over the sound of the drums. Our current mic set-up is a kick drum mic & one overhead. At this moment this provides a pretty decent sound output however we will subsequently purchase a 7 piece mic set to ensure that we can complete recording sessions now in the sanctuary.
Thank you B&H for the awesome service and thank you clearsonic for this AMAZING product
