The Paterson Major Focus Finder works in principle like the Paterson Micro Focus Finder, but its taller 14" height lets you manipulate enlarger controls more comfortably, even at high magnifications.

Comments about Paterson Major Focus Finder:
I've used one for years. It remains accurate and hasn'tneeded any tuning or adjusting for me. I enjoy the heightof the viewing optic as it keeps you somewhat upright formost magnifications, it's also bright and easy to find thegrain structure to focus with. It's a bit tippy but I don'tbelieve I've ever knocked it over and a careful workershould have a similar experience.
Expertise: Serious amateur
Problems Encountered: Nothing that I recall.
Previous Equivalent Item Owned: Magnasite, also the small non-branded scopes.
