The Mc2 from Joemeek is a professional studio-quality stereo compressor in a compact half-rack format. All the important compression controls are variable and the unit is properly and robustly engineered for predictable, controllable performance. The unit is suitable for both recording/mastering and live work.

I use it on everything. Bass, drums, guitar, vocals. It`s really easy to use and doesn`t color the sound. It`s hooked straight into the insert chain of my firewire interface.
I don`t usually use all of its functions, such as GR hold and Stereo width, but it`s nice to know that i have them around.
I think its very good choice for a compressor in its price range, or any price range whatsoever.
