The Canon Ee Crop Lines Focusing Screen Set consists of two screens, one delineating a square format and the other a 4x5/8x10 format. The Crop Lines set, as the name suggests, is comprised of screens with the aspect ratio area marked with a thin border. The screens are based on the standard focusing screen for the 5D, but incorporate a crop line to aid in shooting to a fixed aspect ratio. Both screens are otherwise identical to the standard screen and no adjustment is required for proper ambient or flash metering.

Comments about Canon Ee Crop Lines Focusing Screen Set:
I replaced the standard 5D focusing screen with the 8x10 crop lines screen, and it has already come in handy with regard to proper sizing for 8x10 photos. I didn't even have to change the focusing screen in the custom settings, which was nice. The one thing I would add to this is grid lines, since I have a tendency to be about 1 degree off the plane when I shoot, and I'd like to have a built-in "level". It would also be nice if Canon offered each of these screens individually instead of charging an arm and a leg for two when you can only use one at a time anyway (and will probably only use one as it is).

It would be cool if both crop lines were on one screen. I have to switch screens out allot.

Comments about Canon Ee Crop Lines Focusing Screen Set:
I bought this set of focusing screens to help with in-camera cropping. Now I don't have to guess where an 8x10 or 8x8 crop will fall.
Switching the screens was super quick and easy using the included tool. I'm very happy I bought this product.

Very easy to install. The instructions are clear and concise. The provided tool makes it quick and simple.
This really helps me to know about where the 8x10 format will land in my frame.
From time to time I have a client that needs photos shot and printed within 5 min. For these shoots having the 8x10 guide is a life saver. The quality of my composition is notably better.
I would give this 5 Stars but the big problem I have with this is that Canon does not sell just the 8x10 or just the 1x1. If you want want one you have to buy both. I only need the 8x10 so if any one needs just the 1x1 hit me up I'll give you deal :) Ok OK Im just kidding I already sold it.
