The shooting tent can be lit from the sides, top, back, front or can be placed on a shooting table for bottom illumination. It also contains a removable plastic base, forming a rigid base for ease of product placement.
The floodlight features a high heat ceramic socket and all high heat metal that won't melt like units with plastic sockets. It also features a wooden control handle that stays cool, and includes a built-in adjustable umbrella mount. The attached cord comes with an in-line switch.
Although this kit is supplied for use with 120 AC voltage, it can function with 220-240 voltage, with the appropriate optional bulb, and adapter plug, available separately.

Comments about Impact Extra Large Digital Light Sheds Kit (120-240VAC):
I bought the kit instead of just the light shed hoping to save wear and tear on my studio strobes for product shooting. I had to use ISO800 or higher in order to even get f/5.6 inside the shed with both lights on. I went back to the strobes. I'm keeping the lights to use for portrait work. They are a quick set up, lightweight and can muster enough light for a soft, indoor fill, or as a main on closeup individual portraits. The included stands are nice for these lights or an off-camera shoe flash, but not beefy enough to use for anything else. The light shed is very nice. Versatile and easy to set up and to store.

If you're looking for something to do some small time product photography this work great. Great for web photos and good for some print photos.
I got different color big sheets of heavy BC stock to curl in the tent for seamless photos.

we use this rarley for product shots, the tent is great and well built. The lights get very very hot, and take a while to put together, plus the bulbs will burn out after about 12 hours of use. So get a munch of extras. All in all it's a good buy.
