Visible Dust Chamber Clean Solution Kit
Chamber Clean solution from Visible Dust is specifically formulated to be most effective in cleaning the image camber in digital cameras. The solution is Antistatic to prevent dust accumulation, coats internal components to act as a barrier to dust and dirt, lubricates to help prevent accumulation of dirt and dust by reducing friction, and has cleaning properties to remove stubborn flecks and mirror dust. Chamber Clean solution is filtered to 0.2 micron - that is 40x smaller than the typical 8 micron image sensor element. Other solutions could introduce particulates that can affect the sensor.

I bought this intending on using it to clean my 20D sensor. But after it smeared all over, I realized this product is strictly to be used on the inside chamber only. I had to buy another $30 product to do what I thought this would do. This product does clean the CHAMBER as advertised.

I had seen an instructional video with the product being used so I was somewhat familiar with how to use properly. Not much in the way of instructions but everything worked as expected. Easy to use but need to be careful.

If you don't keep the camera chamber clean, cleaning the sensor doesn't do much good. Keeps your sensor cleaner longer.

This is a very useful tool for your cleaning kit and your camera. There is so much talk about 'dust' in your camera and while that is a problem it isn't the only problem. Every time you attach and detach a lens from your lens mount the two metal plates rub together causing metal shavings in the bottom of the mount well. This helps to clean and extract those bits. If you attempt to blow them out with a blower the metal shards can land on a sensor and if are heated from the sun could burn through the sensor. This is a great product and its anti-static properties are a help as well. Highly recommended. Also TSA Certified for taking it with you.
