I was having problems with water spots so I thought I'd give this a try. I think it works well but i'm not sure if it's worth it. I have had some concerns with water spots and scratches since starting to use it but I'm not sure if it is the cause. It may just be best to get good at using your fingers

The Paterson Film Squeegee has been the prefect addition to my darkroom accessories list. This is a must have for those serious about processing a lot of film. I used to use the General squeegee, it works good if you like scratched film. The Paterson works perfect for the 70 MM film, I process thousands of feet of film on a weekly basis and this squeegee holds does the job.

Pretty basic film squeegee, works fine to remove excess water from my film to prevent waterspots and speed up drying. Wide enough for 135 or 120 film. Never had an issue with scratches, the rubber blades haven't caused any harm, and works better than running my fingers down the film.
