Foma Fomapan Action 400 120mm Black and White Print (Negative) Film
Fomapan 400 Action is a panchromatically sensitized, black-and-white negative film designed for taking photographs under unfavourable light conditions or using short exposure times.
- Meets high requirements for low granularity, good resolving power and good contour sharpness
- Due to its wide exposure latitude the film gives good results even when overexposed by 1 EV (exposure value) (as ISO 200/24 o) or underexposed by 2 EV (as ISO 1600/33o) without any change in processing, i.e. without lengthening the development time or increasing the temperature of the developer used
- To make prints or enlargements, Extrabrom- and Fomaspeed-type enlarging papers are recommended; however, all sorts of black-and-white enlargement papers can be used

Great Value!
Plopped this in my Holga and had excellent results. I'd recommend this to everyday shooters, why? it won't break the bank. I loved the contrast and lat's are pleasing.

The down side that I found was mild color shifting, but for the cost...overall excellent value.

I purchased the film to use in a 120 Holga. It was my first time experimenting with the camera so I wasn't too picky about the film. However, I felt like I made a good choice. The 400 speed produced really excellent, contrasty negatives. I didn't have any trouble reeling the film to develop it; it was actually fairly easy. One thing to note is that regardless of whether I did a wash prior to developing, the film had a light blue tint--this didn't present any problem when printing. This is a good value and I'd definitely purchase it again. I did notice a small light leak on the edge of the film, but nothing to interfere with my printing; may have just occurred during loading.

I'm really happy with this film. It has the amount of contrast that I've been looking for. I've tried other brands and was never satisfied, then decided to give Foma a chance because I love their paper so much. This film makes for beautiful photos even on the darkest of days.

Had a bit of trouble unrolling the film because the adhesive tape stuck to the paper backing. Otherwise the film worked well.
