I have a Canon HV10 HDV video camera. It was the first small HDV camera made by Canon. I love it, but the battery life of the stock battery that came with it is anemic. I bought 3 of these. The price point made it a no-brainer. They work great.

I submitted a poor review stating this item was not working with my HV10. The root cause was a failure of the plug inside the camcorder. The Canon brand batteries were still able to connect after the contacts moved. I fixed the contacts and all is well. These packs have a bit less capacity, but the price makes up for it !!!

Bought 3 a year ago that worked well. All 3 stopped at the same time and three brand new ones will not work either. I bought a new Canon BP-315 at the same time and it works even better. Sadly, this great price gets me nothing.
