The Tascam CD-01U is a 2-channel, mid-priced professional rackmount CD player, featuring unbalanced outputs. The unit is equipped with an RS-232C control port in support of AMX and Crestron system programming, and a Parallel control port for additional remote transport applications.
The CD-01U has a slot-loading drive that supports Red Book CD, CD-R/RW and MP3 playback. A bright, graciously-sized display offers large, easily-read graphics. This CD player represents a well-designed solution for budget-conscious project studio and custom installation requirements.

I had been checking out pro cd players for some time for the church. We tried an inexpensive pro dj one but it wouldn't work right for split track cds. Then BH put a Tascam cd01u on sale for a very great price. The specs were just what we were looking for and the technical representative we talked to on the phone was extremely helpful. The owners manual is very explanatory (in depth). The Tascam cd01u is very easy to operate and I like the slot loader.[...]They had the sale for a week and I say again "UNBELIEVABLE LOW PRICE AND GREAT TECHNICAL SERVICE" THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AT BH, JERRY D.
