I have one complaint about this cord. I bought a 14ft and a 6ft Belkin 1394 4pin to 4pin. Both aren't very snug in the socket. When they stay in the socket(as in dont touch anything the cable is connected to) they tend to work quite alright. They seem durable and pretty reliable other than the socket fit.

Extremely durable and exactly what I needed to connect my HDV Camcorder with Mini DV to the computer to work with the video software to capture video. It also works on the DVD recorder/player 1394EEE 4 pin to 4 pin to transfer video directly from camcorder to a DVD. The cost was 1/4 to 1/2 the price compared to trying to buy it in the store. I am very pleased.
