The Proco MBT-2 is a 150-ohm, 1:1:1 bridging transformer used in the production of the MS-3 microphone splitter box, offering clean transient response and low distortion.
The MBT-2 is optimized for use with low-impedance microphones and other like signal sources, and features special winding techniques and high-permeability (80% Nickel) core lamination to preserve full frequency response.
The MBT-2 has separate electrostatic shields for the input and output windings eliminate hum and buzz from the signal, removing ground-borne electrical noise between the Main and stage monitor, or recording mixers.
