Tried and True! I've only used it extensively for a week but its well made, pretty lightweight, and the side-ejection of the XLR is crucial.

Is the side-exit XLR port suitable for a plug-on wireless transmitter (such as the Sennheiser EW series "SKP"), or will it not attach firmly enough?
In theory, yes, you could connect a plug-on transmitter to the side exit XLR output on the K-Tek KE-110CCR Avalon Series Aluminum Boompole with Internal XLR Cable. Ideally, the transmitter would have a locking mechanism for secure connection at the XLR output.
