Comments about Pelican 1400 Case with Foam (Black):
This is a FANTASTIC product. I use it to carry my Canon T2i along with some other accessories. It had been through a lot and lives up to it's name as well. It's completely watertight, I've thrown it off 50' cliffs into lakes, dragged it behind me while swimming in rivers, and taken it into caves numerous times. You can be sure that whatever you store inside will be completely safe and undamaged when ready to use. It has enough space inside to completely secure my T2i along with another lens and another small accessory. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this product, I have minimal complaints or cons to report about it, mainly the fact that I wish it could fit into a backpack because it is tiring to carry around after a while.

The Altropico Foundation helps indiegnous communities measure and title their Amazon rainforest territories, using precise GPS equipment that needs special protection on river travel and in the humid rainforest. These boxes are great!

Comments about Pelican 1400 Case with Foam (Black):
I use this camera to store my GoPro camera and accessories. I store the camera, two skeletons, eight of the different backs for the skeletons, one LCD bacpac, one battery bacpac, several of the curved and straight adhesive mounts, several of the pivot arm assemblies, one leash tether, one extra SD card in a holder and the suction cup mount. The only drawback is that I can't put my small tripod in it.

We use this product to trasport and store drives. The boxes that the drives come in fall apart pretty quickly so they offer great protection after this happens. The only complaint I have and it's very slight, is that it's pretty heavy when you put a drive in one. If you had to carry more than two of them at a time it might be a problem.

Comments about Pelican 1400 Case with Foam (Black):
I had one of these before, so when bought this case for my G Drive, it came as no surprise that it protected my belongings, as well as having high quality materials/construction. The only thing I am not entirely happy about is that the case is unexpectedly heavy for its size, which means that it is clunky and not too convenient to carry around all day, but probably indicates good workmanship, lots of padding, and, most importantly, a very dense exterior hard shell. The outer plastic shell seems very resilient, and I would trust this case to be shock-proof, provided that the object were tucked snugly into the foam and not allowed to rattle around in too large of a space. I would trust this case for travel, even though it is heavy, because of this.

Comments about Pelican 1400 Case with Foam (Black):
I'm a video professional and haul my gear to location daily. Every piece of gear gets a black pelican case, and although the price of all those cases can add up, it beats the cost of repairing equipment. These things are very rugged and waterproof, and I prefer them over all the other major case manufacturers.
